Hyphenated is for making things, being funny, and finding your people. These rules keep it a place where everyone can do that. Breaking them can get your content removed or your account suspended or banned.
Keep minors safe
Zero tolerance. No content that sexualizes minors, no grooming, and no asking minors for images, personal info, or to move to another app. We report child sexual exploitation to NCMEC and law enforcement.
No nudity or sexual content
No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually explicit content. No sexual solicitation.
No harassment or bullying
Don’t target people with insults, threats, unwanted sexual comments, doxxing (sharing private info), or pile-ons. Don’t mock people for their appearance, identity or circumstances.
No hate
No attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or immigration status, and no hateful symbols or slurs.
No violence or dangerous acts
No threats, glorifying violence, graphic gore, or dangerous challenges that could get someone hurt. No promotion of weapons sales, illegal drugs, or terrorism.
Suicide, self-harm and eating disorders
Talking about mental health is welcome. Showing or encouraging self-harm, suicide or disordered eating is not. If you’re struggling, call or text 988 any time.
Be real
No impersonation, scams, spam, fake engagement, or harmful misinformation. Label AI-generated content that shows realistic people or events.
Respect copyright
Post content you made or have rights to. Use library sounds or original sounds for music. See our Copyright Policy.
LIVE
All of the above applies on LIVE. You must be 18 to host. Hosts can remove chat messages and mute viewers.
